Gary Roos

I'm Gary. I spent a career in uniform and most of it with a camera nearby — cities after dark, flight lines, the light on the way home.

The rest of the week I think about how people get better at hard things. That work lives over here. This page is just me.

Cities at night

Chicago, mostly, in March, mostly cold. I like a street better once the lights are doing the work.

The uniform years

Flight lines, ceremonies, and a few years of Pacific sunsets. A handful of favorites here; the full galleries live on CloudSpot.

Everything else

The galleries update as I shoot. Teams and families can find their session here.

I keep the camera close because the good part never announces itself first.

Say hello — I answer my own email.
